Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar
Greetings from Do Dham Yatra. Drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh after arriving at the Delhi Airport or Railway Station, and spend the night at a hotel in Haridwar.
Day 02: Haridwar – Guptkashi
Check out, drive to Guptkashi, and spend the night at the hotel after breakfast.
Day 03: Guptkashi – Kedarnath
After breakfast in the morning, depart for Kedarnath Dham. Kedarnath Darshan is fun. At Kedarnath, spend the night.
By Helicopter: Our driver will drop you off at your pre-arranged Helipad in the morning. Whether you plan to arrive by helicopter or by foot, you can let the driver know when you plan to arrive so that the driver can be prepared to pick you up. Note that this bundle does not include a helicopter ticket.
By trek: After our driver drops you off at Sonprayag in the morning, you must take a local jeep to Gaurikund, where your trip to Kedarnath Ji begins. You do the same after darshan and head back to Sonpraag. Due to a significant parking problem, the driver will return to another palace; if his phone number is unreachable, you will need to wait for your driver or get another taxi.
Kedarnath: The magnificent Kedarnath range serves as the backdrop for the picturesque Kedarnath shrine, one of Lord Shiva’s twelve jyotirlingas. Lord Shiva is also known by the name Kedar. Legend has it that the Pandavas, feeling guilty about killing their own brothers, sought Lord Shiva’s blessings for ransom after defeating the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war. He frequently escaped them and sought sanctuary at Kedarnath in the shape of a bull. He left his hump on the ground as he plunged into the dirt while being pursued.
Weather in Kedarnath: Kedarnath has frigid temperatures for the majority of the year because of its high elevation. Here, summers are pleasant and cool, while winters are harsh. The temperature fluctuates by about 20°C during the summer. It is advised to wear light wool clothing. Kedarnath experiences a harsh winter, with temperatures as low as 0° Celsius. The area also receives snowfall during this period. Tourists typically avoid this time of year due to the extremely cold weather.
Day 04: Kedarnath – Guptkashi
Return to Guptkashi by track or helicopter the morning after Darshan. Take a hotel room for the night.
Day 05: Guptkashi – Badrinath
Go to Badrinath the morning after breakfast. Arrive at the hotel in Badrinath and check in. In the evening, pilgrims participate in the Darshan of Badrivishal and Aarti after taking a dip in the Tapt Kund. For the ancestors’ Pinddan Shraddh (Pitrus), Brahma Kapal is crucial. Other noteworthy tourist destinations include Mana, Mata Murti, Charan Paduka, Vyas Gufa, Bhimkund, and the Saraswati River’s “Mukh.” Badrinath Ji is about three kilometres away. At Badrinath, spend the night.
Mana Village: The final Indian settlement before Tibet, it is inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian people.
Vasundhara: This stunning waterfall is exactly what its name implies. The distance from Badrinath to this location is 5 kilometres, of which 2 km can be driven to Mana.
Bhim Pul: Across the raging Saraswati river from Mana village is a large rock that forms a natural bridge. It is thought to have been positioned there by Bhim, the second oldest of the five Pandava brothers, and offers a breathtaking view of water pouring down through the small opening beneath the rock.
Vyas Gufa: This rock cave, which lies close to Mana Village, is thought to be the location of Ved Vyas’s appearance in the Mahabharata and the Qur’anic commentary.
Badrinath Weather: The average minimum temperature is 8° Celsius, with a high temperature of approximately 18° Celsius. As a result, wearing warm, woollen clothing is necessary for a year-round stay in Badrinath. Snowfall is common in Badrinath throughout the winter months. With an average temperature of 5° Celsius, winter is quite cold. This time of year is typically closed to tourists due to the extremely cold weather.
Day 06: Badrinath– Rishikesh
Once I had breakfast, I went to Rishikesh. Rishikesh: For Hindus, Rishikesh, which bears the name of Lord Vishnu, is a sacred city. It is also referred to as the yoga centre of the world and is home to numerous internationally recognised ashrams. It is situated in northern India, in the foothills of the Himalayas. With its abundance of ashrams and various yoga and meditation sessions, Rishikesh bills itself as the “Yoga Capital of the World.” Within the city, lush hills encircle the swift-moving Ganges. In addition to temples and ashrams, Rishikesh is today a well-liked destination for white-water rafting, a hangout for backpackers, and the starting point for Himalayan treks. Stop for one night.
Day 7: Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi (230KMS/7HR)
