The founding of the Maya Group of Colleges in 2010 led to the transformation of this group into Maya Devi University by virtue of the Uttarakhand Private University (Amendment) Act, 2024 (Act No.- 05, 2024) to commemorate its 14th anniversary.

It is the best institution for all budding technocrats, entrepreneurs and managers that Maya Devi University offers through its excellent infrastructure, close ties with business and industry, social concerns as well as high standards in academics and research. Maya Devi University is situated on NH-72 near Selaqui, a growing industrial town in Dehradun. The Himalayan Mountain Range encircles it to the west, Shivalik to the south, Chakrata, Mussoorie, and Dhanaulti to the north, and the Ganges to the east.

The annual Maya Devi University fees at varies from Rs 36,000 to Rs 3, 46,000 based on the degree level, length, and area of specialization of the program. The college provides interested applicants with 28 courses in the diploma, undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate levels. 

In addition, Maya Devi University provides 16 BSc courses and 22 B.Voc courses at the undergraduate level. Library: The colleges provide a well-stocked, 24-hour, Wi-Fi-enabled library with multimedia capabilities. Mess: Boys' and girls' dining areas are separate. The head chef and caterers from a five-star hotel prepare and serve the food. Students can choose from a wide selection of cuisines upon request. Maya Group of Colleges Scholarships 

Merit-based scholarship is offered by Maya Group of Colleges. Meritorious students can receive up to INR 5 lakh from the college. The following are the requirements to be eligible for the scholarships: 

• The Maya Devi Shiksha Abhiyan offers two places to the most worthy individuals, free of charge.
• Students who score between 1 and 5,000 on the JEE are eligible for a 30% tuition cost waiver.
• Students with a JEE Rank between 5,001 and 15,000 are exempt from 25% of the tuition.
• Students who receive 95% on their Class 12 transcript are exempt from paying 75% of their tuition.
• 50% of the tuition is removed for students in Class 12 who receive grades of 88% to 95%.

Conclusion

From the year 2010 onwards, it was to be founded on the roots which were established by one of its siblings; Maya Group of Colleges. New name “Maya Devi University” was given to it in 2024 after getting clearance from the UGC. It is also PCI recognized and AICTE approved.
