Make Your Kedarnath Yatra Planning Easy: Latest Cancellation Policy for Kedarnath Heli Service Announced!
Hello, dear Kedarnath devotees and Char Dham Yatra enthusiasts! We have some thrilling news that will make planning your pilgrimage hassle-free and worry-free. The Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA), in association with IRCTC, has launched a transparent and transparent cancellation policy for the Kedarnath helicopter service. And bookings for the 2025 season are going to open in the first week of April, so you can prepare for your holy trip immediately!
Imagine soaring over the majestic Himalayas, landing near the sacred Kedarnath Dham, and offering your prayers to Baba Kedar – all made easier with the Kedarnath Heli Service. IRCTC will soon announce the exact booking dates on their official website, heliyatra.irctc.co.in, and just like last year, you’ll be able to book your helicopter tickets online through IRCTC. Whether you’re traveling from Dehradun or nearby helipads like Guptkashi, Sersi, or Phata, the first week of April is your time to secure your spot for this divine journey.
Now, let’s discuss the major update – the new cancellation policy! UCADA and IRCTC have brought in a systematic timeline so that you’re aware of exactly what will happen if your plans get altered. Here’s the cancellation rulebook for your helicopter tickets:
Cancellation Timeline | Refund Details |
More than 48 hours before flight | 25% of the fare will be refunded after deducting convenience and transaction fees. |
Within 24 to 48 hours of flight | No refund will be provided. |
Less than 24 hours before flight | No refund will be provided. |
Cancellation due to bad weather, technical issues, or government orders | Full refund (excluding convenience and transaction fees). |
Important Notes:
All cancellations are to be made online via the IRCTC Heli Yatra website (heliyatra.irctc.co.in). No cancellations by any other means are accepted.
Refunds on online reservations will be made in 5 to 7 working days and reimbursed to the same account upon which the booking was done.
If your flight is canceled due to unforeseen reasons like bad weather or technical issues, you’ll need to submit your ticket or boarding pass at the helipad counter to process the refund.
Convenience fees and payment gateway/transaction fees are non-refundable in every situation.
This policy is intended to enable you to plan your trip with confidence, knowing precisely what to anticipate if you have to cancel. UCADA’s initiatives are all about making the heli service more structured and traveler-friendly, so your attention can be on the spiritual experience.
So, dear pilgrims, it’s time to prepare for your Char Dham Yatra! Watch out for the booking announcement in early April on heliyatra.irctc.co.in. Don’t forget to register for the Char Dham Yatra on the Uttarakhand government portal (registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in) – compulsory for booking Kedarnath Heli Service. Book your tickets, plan well, and in case of changes, cancel at least 48 hours prior to get your 25% refund.
