We will travel about 45 kilometers from Barkot to Janki Chatti after an early breakfast. The route to Yamunotri is 6 km one way, beginning at Janki Chatti.
You can either rent a pony or doli at your own expense or choose to walk. After arriving in Yamunotri, visit the temple for Darshan and Pooja and have a sacred dip in Surya Kund, a hot spring. After that, head back to Janki Chatti and take a car back to Barkot to spend the night there.
Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi (100KMS / 04HRS ONE WAY)
After breakfast, leave the hotel and travel 100 km to make your way to Uttarkashi by car. After arriving, check into the hotel and spend the remainder of the day relaxing. After that, spend the night at Uttarkashi and visit the Vishwanath Temple.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri -Uttarkashi (220KMS / 08 TO 09HRS)
Set out on a day trip to Gangotri after breakfast. Enjoy the beautiful Harsil on the way, and when you get to Gangotri, go to the Gangotri Mata Temple and do Pooja. Go back to Uttarkashi and spend the night there.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (230 km / 9 hrs approx.)
After breakfast, depart the hotel and, if there are still rooms available, drive to Sitapur, Phata, or Guptkashi. After arriving, check into the hotel and spend the remainder of the day relaxing. Spend the night in Guptkashi, Phata, or Sitapur.
Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30KMS BY ROAD & 16KMS TREK ONE WAY)
Drive to Sonprayag early in the morning, and then take local transit to Gaurikund. Set out on your journey to Kedarnath from Gaurikund. It takes about eleven to twelve hours to complete the walk. As an alternative, you can utilise a Doli at your own expense, rent a pony, or take a helicopter. Once you are in Kedarnath, visit the Shri Kedarnath Temple to perform Pooja and Darshan. For a night, check in at the Hotel/Dormitory (GMVN).
Day 7: Kedarnath – Gaurikund (30KMS BY ROAD & 16KMS TREK)
Leave the hotel early in the morning and walk to Sitapur, Phata, or Guptkashi. Drive to Sitapur/Phata/Guptkashi after using local transit from Gaurikund to Sonprayag. If you plan to stay overnight, check in at the hotel.
Day 8: Guptkashi – Joshimath (144KMS / 05 TO 06HRS)
After breakfast, leave the hotel and make your way to Joshimath or Pipalkoti. At Tunganth temple, perform darshan. The 3.5-kilometer trek can be completed on foot or by horseback. Check in at the hotel when you arrive. Take some time to relax and enjoy the afternoon.
Day 9: Joshimath – Badrinath Joshimath (40KMS / 02HRS)
Take a day trip to Badrinath, the most significant of the Char Dhams and a site devoted to Lord Vishnu. Visit Shri Badrinath Temple, Brahma Kamal, and other tourist attractions like Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Mata Murti Temple, Bhim Kund, and the Saraswati River’s “Mukh” after taking a morning dip in the Taptkund. After that, make your way to Pipalkoti/Rudrapryag and check into the hotel for the night.
Day 10: Joshimath – Haridwar (274KMS / 07 TO 08HRS)
Check out of the hotel and make your way to Haridwar after breakfast. You will be taken to the airport or train station upon arrival so that you can depart. There are enduring recollections at the end of the Chardham Yatra.
