This yatra journey, which has great religious importance for Hindus, can be tailored to your needs. The Badrinath and Kedarnath Yatra is a good choice if you’re short on time but yet want to honor your gods.
Kedarnath: It is one of the most important Hindu religious shrines of Lord Shiva, and is considered a high point of this worship. This form, the Kedarnath temple, dates back to the 8th century affirmatively constructed on the order of Adi Shankaracharya, and is believed to have been built directly by the Pandavas, the heroes of the Mahabharata, while the temple at Badrinath was believed to have been built by Garuda. The holy shrine that is sanctified by the everlasting presence of Lord Shiva is a symbol of unwavering faith in religion and is an ode to the strength of religion that always stands tall. Its sanctity was revived by the inspired leadership of Adi Shankaracharya, and unbreakable belief of pilgrims through the ages.
Badrinath: Sitting atop a throne of mountains, Badrinath is nestled in the heart of nature’s beauty, its heavenly glory touching the sky. The town is nestled by the peaceful Alaknanda River and is guarded by a shield of the mighty Nar and Narayan mountain ranges. As of the construction of the temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu by the great teacher Adi Shankaracharya in the eighth century, this heavenly abode has remained a source of spiritual hope. The village welcomes pilgrims to venture out onto a journey that traverses the world of the mortal and enters the eternal world due to its atmosphere of spiritual reverence. Worshippers feel a sense of transcendence and piety as they walk around the sacred grounds, creating a bond with the infinite.
Summer, i.e., May to June, and early autumn, i.e., September to October, are the most favorable seasons for the Do Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand. Due to the risk of landslides and heavy snowfall, individuals generally avoid the monsoon period (July to August) and the winter season (November to April).
